Meet Our Staff

Melissa, R.D.H./Hygienist

Hi, I am Melissa.   I graduated from the University of Georgia and then attended Georgia Perimeter College in Dunwoody, where I received my degree in Dental Hygiene.  I joined Dr. Chalef's practice in 2014.  Our office is really upbeat and a lot of fun.  We work as a team to guarantee that each patient is treated special.  I live in Dunwoody with my husband, Steven, and our beagle, Ella.  In my free time, I love to work out, read, and spend time outdoors, especially at the beach or pool.

Erin, R.D.H./Hygienist

Hi, I am Erin.  I have been with Dr. Chalef since 2006 after graduating from the Medical College of Georgia where I received my Bachelors in Dental Hygiene.  We try very hard to make your dental visit at our office as laid back and relaxed as possible.  I have enjoyed working here because of our patient relationships and the fun environment.  As an office, we attend the Georgia Dental Association conference every summer.  This gives us the opportunity to learn and keep up with the latest advances in dentistry.  We use the time to relax outside of the office, as well as bonding and team building.  It is always a lot of fun and we have the pictures to prove it.  One of my favorite office memories was racing an America's Cup Sailboat in Hilton Head, and helping to crew the boat.  Outside of work, I enjoy staying busy and active with CrossFit, training and running various half marathons, and I enjoy time with friends and family.  I live in Buckhead with my Wheaten Terrier, Maguire.

Adriana, Dental Assistant

Hi, my name is Adriana.  I am a native of Connecticut and new to the Atlanta area.  I attended Tunxis College in Farmington, Ct. where I obtained my Certification in Dental Assisting.  Though I  have only been with Dr. Chalef for a short time, I have fostered many wonderful relationships with my patients and was pleasantly surprised at how quickly I became close with my co-workers.  I can honestly say that coming to work is such a pleasure, knowing how much fun I am going to have with the great staff we have here at the office.  We have fun together outside of the office as well.  For the Christmas holidays, we were treated to a wonderful dinner and phenomenal show with Cirque du Soleil.
When I am not having fun at work, I enjoy writing, the arts, and above all, spending time with my beautiful daughter, Alana.  I will work hard to make your dental experience at Dr. Chalef's office a happy one!

Debbie, Appointment Coordinator

Hi!  My name is Debbie.  I am originally from South Africa.  I have three grown kids... Jodi, Hayley, and Josh. I have been working with Dr. Chalef since 1995.  I enjoy our office because we have a very friendly and professional environment, which is why I have been there for so long.  I especially enjoy the time we spend together at the Georgia Dental Association meetings at the beach, which we have been going to together for many years.  It is always a wonderful bonding experience which helps us grow together as a "family".  I do most of the scheduling in the office, so I look forward to speaking with you in person.

Patti, Front Desk

Hi, I am Patti. I was happy to join the team in November 2013 with 15 years of experience in the dental field as front desk. This is an office where there is laughter on a regular basis. I enjoy meeting, greeting, and making people feel feel comfortable in their dental experience.  My faith, family, and friends are important to me. I am married to my best friend, Steve, and between the two of us, we have five kids and eight grandchildren.  I enjoy photography, travelling and outdoor activities. Do be careful, as I am known to be the "Happy Hugger" !

Annette, Front Desk/Bookkeeping

My name is Annette, and I have been with Dr. Chalef since 1993.  I am a "numbers" person and I handle the bookkeeping and insurance aspects of the practice.  I enjoy helping patients with their insurance questions and I refuse to accept a denial of a valid insurance claim.  I love to fight for the patient's right to benefits and feel much satisfaction when we win, which is most of the time.  Over the many years with Dr. Chalef, I have had the pleasure of watching many of our young patients grow to adulthood and start families of their own who now have become patients also.
In my personal time, I love spending time with my nine grandchildren and sharing my interests in knitting, sewing, painting, and other crafts with them
